We are developing a modern hybrid modular mini-refinery at Pinkenba Trade Coast in Brisbane. We will refine renewable fuels (biodiesel and HEFA renewable aviation fuel) from Australian feedstock as well as ultra-low-sulphur diesel and petrol produced from 100% Queensland onshore crude.
All fuel will be sold directly to the public and businesses — giving Queenslanders a genuine local alternative that is more affordable and more secure.
Our Vision
After 23 years running my own business and watching fuel prices rise relentlessly, I decided enough was enough. Reliably Secure Fuels was founded to bring real fuel autonomy back to Australia. Brisbane is the first step. Our long-term goal is a national network of similar refineries that will serve capital cities and regional farming communities — giving farmers and producers direct access to lower-cost fuel while strengthening Australia’s energy security.
Why Now
Queensland is on the verge of a major onshore oil boom. The recent Courier Mail reports on the huge new reserves in the Taroom Trough confirm what we already believe — the time is right to build local refining capacity that turns these resources into fuel for Australians, not exports.
